 What is the Access to the General Curriculum Institute (AGCI)?

 

Access is a means of approach.

Access is how educators expose students to the general curriculum.

 

Designing learning environments that ensure students receive quality access to the general curriculum is challenging.  Educators are faced with a wide range of learner variability in their classrooms.  To address this variability, educators need professional development opportunities that focus on evidenced based practices for instruction.

 

The goal of the AGC Institute it to provide educators with high-quality professional learning experiences covering a wide-range of topics designed to build their capacity in evidenced-based practices for instruction. The AGC Institute offers attendees a wide variety of opportunities to hear from national, state and local experts through  general and concurrent sessions.
